What’s it for?

Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea and acute episodes of diarrhoea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome diagnosed by a doctor.

How to Use

• Acute episodes of diarrhoea associated with IBS:
• 18 years and over: 2 capsules initially followed by 1 capsule after every loose bowel movement, or as previously advised by a doctor, up to a maximum of 6 capsules in 24 hours.
• Under 18 years: not to be given. Acute diarrhoea:
• 12 years and over: 2 capsules initially followed by 1 capsule after every loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 6 capsules in 24 hours.
• If symptoms do not improve within 2 days of taking this product, usage should be stopped and a doctor consulted.
• Under 12 years: not to be given.

Warnings & Cautions

• Keep out of the reach and sight of children
• Do not store above 25°C
• Talk to your doctor first if you have AIDS and your stomach becomes swollen, stop taking the capsules immediately and contact your doctor.
• Talk to your doctor first if you suffer from liver disease
• Talk to your doctor first if you have diarrhoea as your body loses more fluid, sugars and salts than normal
• Talk to your doctor first if you are taking any other medicines

• Blue soft oval capsule containing: Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg
