Migraleve Yellow

What’s it for?

• The short term treatment of acute moderate pain which is not relieved by paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin alone, such as migraine attacks including the symptoms of migraine headache, nausea and vomiting.
• Treatment should always start with Migraleve Pink tablets.

How to Use

• 16 years and over (following treatment with pink tablet(s)): 2 yellow tablets every 4 hours if required. Maximum 6 yellow tablets in 24 hours.
• 12-15 years (following treatment with pink tablet(s): 1 yellow tablet every 4 hours if required. Maximum 3 yellow tablets in 24 hours.
• Under 12 years: not to be given.

Warnings & Cautions

• Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use
• Warning: do not exceed the stated dose. May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery
• Do not combine with alcohol
• Can cause addiction
• Keep out of sight and reach of children
• For three days only
• Do not take with other paracetamol-containing products
• Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose (even if you feel well)
• If you need to take this medicine for more than three days you must see your doctor or pharmacist
• This medicine contains codeine which can cause addiction if you take it continuously for more than three days. If you take this medicine for headaches for more than three days it can make them worse
• Do not give to children under 12 years of age except under medical supervision.
