What’s it for?

Treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the lips and face (cold sores).

How to Use

  • Adults, elderly and children: apply 5 times daily at appropriate 4 hourly intervals for 4 days starting at the first sign of a cold sore (blister or tingle stages).
  • If healing has not occurred after this time, continue for up to 10 days.
  • If lesions are still present after 10 days a doctor should be consulted.

  • Do not exceed the stated dose
  • Do not use in eyes or on genitals

Ingredients:

  • Smooth, white cream containing: Aciclovir 5% w/w
